There are some clubs that do Practical Shotgun.. This is basically the PC wording of Combat Shotgun.
There is a very good club down south called "Shield Shooting Centre". Some of the guys came up at the weekend and they were darn good shots. They are on the gun club forum too.
If you wish to know any more, then just PM me. Regards, TL

Practical Shotgun... now I like the sound of that. I'll do some research and then PM you to fill in the gaps if I may.
I have had a quick look at that club. It's about 100 miles away through some very trafficy Dorset roads, but I head that way just for the Tank museum often enough. I'll look into that more. Very interesting.
Yes, my hands on approach is very much for the current state of law & order. If it was WROL, then an intruder situation wouldn't even be comparable. I'm far from unarmed as it is. It just doesn't pay to use a weapon if you don't have to in this time of 'justice'.
The point I was making (in a rambling kind of way) was, I'm not doing anything wrong now, I don't plan to do anything wrong if I have a gun, so why am I nervous about being on the list? I'm not actually sure myself on that.
