The recent chatter about solar EMPs has prompted this thread,... I really would like some views,.. some clarification if possible on just what will, and what will not work after a massive solar flare.

I have read hundreds of pieces on this subject, and am still not 100% sure of what we will have left working,... I know there might not be a 100% answer, but views would be welcome

I have thought about this a while,.. I have things like HF radio, CB, batteries solar panel, and chargers all in Faraday cages, I have a kick start Quad bike because I think they might still be running, as will generators, these have little to fry as such,

Would really like some answers
