Main problems here have been slugs, snails and caterpillars, white and greenfly, plus a very cold spell mid May.

End of season we will be bulk purchasing chemical treatments. if we can find the right deal we'll buy enough for three seasons and then just keep rotating stocks. Without chemicals we'd have been wiped out.

Re the cold spell in May, I should just have listened to what my father told me about Buchan's cold spells... The old man was right:-)
