Steve, I do wish you would post facts not total BS told to you by some left winger. EG When LABOUR promised us only 14000 Poles would come o the UK and then 1.3 million came, WHAT was the Trade Unions response? It was to go and open RECRUITING offices in places like Poland to ENCOURAGE more Poles to come to the UK, they were DELIGHTED to see millions of Polish workers come and undercut our workers just so long as they joined the Unions. Indeed the TUC cooperated with Polish Unions to ensure the Poles got well organised and represented.

IIRC BT and German Telecoms BOTH opened contacts in Poland to ATTRACT workers with the full support of their respective trade unions.
