I've just received a book by Lars MYTTING Titled Norwegian Wood. ISBN 978-0-85705-255-1

In a word its brilliant.

I recommend it to anyone serious about wood burning.

In a highly readable style he discusses the whole lifestyle of wood burning in a way that will be sure to win the hearts and approval of active practitioners of the art.

Areas covered are: Forestry, tools for felling and converting, techniques for converting, wood stores woodpiles, seasoning and wood burning stoves themselves.

Its a great read and one that brought a tear to my eye (and no it wasn't due to wood-smoke)
