Sri lanka
Sri lanka, is getting back to normal gradually but if anything it remains as an example (not talked about) of what happens, when the simpletons get the ears of the politicians.
The agriculture of an entire country was crashed, in the name of green farming. The country, went from food sufficiency, to food dependency overnight and nobody cared and few were punished.
The people who suffered, were the usual suspects, both in not being able to find food to buy but also not being able to afford it.
How long will it take, for sri lanka to return to food sufficiency, or will it never really ?

It was a big news story, that came and went and disappeared down a rabbit hole, nobody wants to talk about.

Imaging it happening to western Europe ? Could it, would the politicians really do it and would they be able to correct it ?

It's worth remembering, small changes can have big consequences.

What if, instead of agriculture, they crashed the energy sector and brought the whole, supply chain system to a standstill ?
