Welcome aboard! I am a reader in the USA and am trying to glean bits of practical kniwledge, which ard the products of analysis and experience, rather than the terminal Walter Mitty syndrome so common of US preper sites.
I have 24 years of disaster response and preparedness experience from my local government experience, from which I am now happily retired. While my perspective is somewhat different, I am pleased to assist where I can. We can all learn from each other.

Hi from Buxton in Derbyshire! Thanks for the intro, you're certainly not alone in your thoughts about how the world is shaping up. There is a group, I believe, in the Bristol area but, hopefully one now starting in the Cheshire area too. Be good to see you there.
Re solar stuff, I'm hoping to do a better demo of solar systems (time and space allowing) next Cheshire meet combined with some security stuff too. How about it?
