dont let me put you off, thats just my personal opinion, i wouldnt have one myself but then i nearly drowned when i was 12 so the only water i go in these days is the showerTongue

I just think that if you live in a city with a waterway, the roads will be blocked, but the waterways will probably be all clear. Same as with living near the sea. It would probably be faster (depending on the tide and currents) to travel by water than it would be by road, if everyone is trying to get out at the same time.
