RE: Being very cold
Today was 5C here and with a very cold wind, should be around 10C for this time of year, we won’t be letting the stove out yet. Someone said the other day we might have snow over Easter, time will tell. We were out walking this morning but to cold to work in the garden.

I usually put no stock in weather forecasts 2 weeks out!

They can not tell me what is going to happen tomorrow night with any accuracy, why should I believe they know what is going to happen in two weeks?

RE: Being very cold
A friend of ours had a visitor from Germany stay with them for a few of weeks, after a couple of weeks he said “now i know why you British are always talking about the weather, you can have four seasons in a day”. We usually take the weather forecast with a pinch of salt. We look out the kitchen window if the birds are going mad at the feeders we can expect bad weather.

100% my POV too MB

Pro Weather forecasting is now on a par with tabloid journalism, always looking for sensational headlines. Troube is that they are 80% wrong, especially concerning anything greater than 24hrs away.

My wife reckons I my own forecasting is far more accurate. How doI do it? Just by looking at trending weather patterns on http://www.sat24.com

duh.
