call the army back from places they shouldnt be and let them sort out the chavs. After a few heads are beaten they might be less of a pain in the ass to the rest of us

I'd like that. They would shoot themselves and we would all laugh.

The London School of Economics has always been Socialist orientated. Probably they are trying to stir up the Socialists. I would never trust them or any of their students. I do think the Socialists will try to stir up more riots and are going to make a lot more of the police cuts. Kenneth Eames.

Oooooh I wish.
Apart from the fact that the idiots wouldn't know how to put the bullets into the magasines let alone how to cock them, I'd happily donk one on the head to get hold of a SLR again.

as i was going to bed i could so easily imagine a scenario where riots get mental, police cant cope, army comes in, people rebel even more, martial law's declared, some form of uprising begin, the government go mental, and we're suddenly living in a police state with revolutionaries trying to resist Tongue

heh chav hunting, sounds like the best hunting.

and i do wanna beat up a chav just cause i wanna break his face with my fist, i bloody hate chavs.

Consider this, what if the current fragmented gangs of ethnic and chavs used their facetube, and twatter systems to unite and organise, I'm sure scum like the SWP would help them. they could kick off in multiple cities and use twatter and Youpage etc to tip each other off if the plods were responding, could get nasty quickly.

Worse case secenario if the cops cannot get control is thy would have to read the riot act or impliment the emergency powers act.

Traffic wardens with SLRs anyone ??
yeah, well they took a lot of plods from the Devon & Cornwall force, i think also Avon & Somerset, funnily enough even with a lower number of plods( lower than normal that is) the riots didnt kick off down here, must tell you something about the people who live here? or maybe they've got better things to do??
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

Well, I suspect that most of them are caused by Plods heavy handed presence. No Plod no riots.

well that sounds about right to me, in dorch people were just getting their fill of drugs and in yeovil i tihnk there was a bit of rioting (fuckin chavvy yeovil) xD.....most of my local plod are a bunch of facist pigs Tongue

anyway all the riots start with some police bloke being scared, hurting someone then the rioters find out and go fkin mental.
if the police were more diplomatic and not so ridiculously heavy handed it just wouldnt happen, the only way being heavy handed works is if you do it so much you oppress the people and turn you country into a police state Tongue

Look at it from the other side though. Your boss gives you a nice shiny new riot shield, a fucking big stick, and says "Go protect those shops."

There's the Great Hooded Unwashed approaching, chucking bricks, bits of wood etc at you.

I don't know about you, but I'd lose my temper pretty sharpish. Anyone comes within reach of my beating stick then they're gonna get it wrapped round their noggin.

I certainly couldn't be a copper. Not because I'd be too easy to bribe (although that's a very real possibility) but I couldn't take the shit they do and not kick off.

hehe i guess you n me got that in common, if i was a copper i'd just end up becoming police brutality o.O..either that or i'd be bent as fuck (and no i dont mean i'd turn into a gay guy.)....mind you alot of cops are bent, i've heard enough stories from ex coppers of them doing things they really shouldnt've xD

but yeah i totally get what you mean, im not critiscing the individual policemen rather the way that they're told to act and the way they function as an organisation, im almost certain theres better ways to do things.
