It will be an interesting watch over the next few months. The EUSSR is not going to go down without a fight.

there was some talk amongst the German & French that they might actually throw Britain out of the EU, seems Cameron has really pissed them off for refusing to sign the new treaty.

The problem is that cameron is a politician through and through. I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. We have to pay this or do this because of what was done. he is a supporter of the EU, he likes it as do all gravy train politicians and thus this is out of character. Remember this is 'Cast Iron Dave' who does so many U turns he is spinning like a top.

not that Labour are any different in that respect, Milliband would have signed the treaty without any guarantees.

we always were, we only do 40% of our trade with the EU, our traditional markets always were the commonwealth.

Not arguing with you there about Red Ed. Heloves the EUSSR as well.
Our biggest single trading partner is the US. We should join forces with them once they have their next revolution.

how can we be part of europe theres a little river deviding us and they don't like use because our fore fathers kicked thier a**es all the time in war the french have still never got over use having to save them, next time we should just stay out of it and let them pay the price
bout time this gov got well out altogether and trade with the rest of the world save are farmers and fishing men end all that stupid red tape that stops business making real money and for heavens sake build our armed forces and nuclear warhead back up instead of cutting it to death (shareing ships with france)
to win the war, you must be willing to die

Problem is we have either created, defeated, settled or liberated nearly every damn country on the planet so resentment of the Brits is quite high even if its totally unjustified.
