yes, this happened to me when i lived in a small cottage on Dartmoor, logs were damp and my mate put some petrol lighter fluid on it, the log sparked and set the (wicker) log basket on fire, soon put it out-and the log STILL didnt burn!!
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

When we lived in the fens when I was a kid, we always had a fire guard for that reason, reinous wood spits like fluck, and even though we had the fireguard our hearth rug had shit loads of burns in it, thats why you never leave a burning fire unatended...
