RE: Average weekly spend £483 ??
Well we certainly dont take that much home,..and we are both working,..I dont know where they get those figures from, but I know that we dont earn that much after tax, we dont borrow anything,... but I am glad to say we can still save
A major part of survival is invisibility.

Most of the households of my friends and neighbors will have more than this coming in. £483 a week is not much - a couple both working full time on £7.70 an hour would earn this.
A single person would have to be on £17 an hour - decent but not amazing.

OH's friend is a cook gets £10 per hour, but thats the exception, ALL jobs around here are minimum wage and most are part time.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

All this just goes to show that we are nothing more than units of tax to be exploited by increasingly avaricious governments determined to enslave all of us.
Sorry for rant but I hate the Bastards

And it is from the intro to the TV series 'The Prisoner' with Patrick McGoohan, not Orwell's 1984.
