ThunderFlash (civvy version of flash bangs)
Just wondering if anyone has ever had any experience of these? I'm thinking along the lines of for home security. It might buy me a vital few seconds should I come under any sort of attack post shtf.
Also does anyone know if using them outside of an airsoft/paintball environment may make them fall foul of the throwing fireworks law?
Cheers.
Rob.

RE: ThunderFlash (civvy version of flash bangs)
its illegal to use them outside of the airsoft site, as they have to be insured just to be able to use them, but thats a good idea, i play a lot of airsoft (well used to in the summer months) and they are loud as hell, the only downside is the strike, half the time it might not work properly, but in theory it would make a pretty nice setup, but they are legal to buy by anyone over 18 from websites, and if your talking about post shtf i dont think the law will apply if its for home defence

If its only for insurance purposes then I suppose I could invest in a few. Test a couple & then store the rest.
Cheers for your reply Cestrian

Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

Although not from this site, this was about the price I had seen them. I wonder if our very own BeardyMan Trotter can get them for a cheaper price?

Typical, everyone seems sold out of the £2 versions.
I quite fancy some of those claymores & grenades. If I was gonna raid somewhere & I seen a claymore or 2 on the perimeter, I would soon change my mind & move on.
I've just seen a video on YouTube of one of these in action & these aren't the ones I was thinking of. There was no flash. Just a bang

I can have a look, but probably can't beat that price without buying a huge amount.
I prefer to make my own. Works out cheaper. And the ones you make at home aren't these little things either - You can add other things into the mixture, like magnesium, for a big flash too
Gotta remember, these aren't a serious bang at all, they are only a distraction tool. Make your own and really scare the fuckers.
