Diy Mylar bag ?

ive been doing a bit of research on mylar food packets for a while now and came across this in a web search http://www.survivalistboards.com/showthr...p?t=111956

so having secured a set of hair straightners ( shh im bald nearly )
i gave it a try and found it really easy to re- seal the packet, i used a beef jerky bag. just some of those little sachets of those oxygen absorbers
not sure what the long term storage would be like but worth a try
