Life Boat rations
I do not know if anyone keeps life boat style rations as part of their preps.
The kind of rations that are high calorie biscuits for example these -> http://evaq8.co.uk/EMERGENCY-FOOD-RATION...cuits.html

This gentleman has lived on them for the 72 hours and has recoreded it.

well, like he says on the video you can (probably) live on it for 3 days, i dont think i'd like too though, looks pretty bland and tasteless, i'll stick to my camping dehydrated meals i think-if weight is an issue + my "nature valley" trail mix bars, otherwise i'll eat something out of a tin..cold if i have to!Big Grin
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

These are basically what it says on the tin. Short term rations just to stop you starving. I have a store of energy bars, chocolate and similar items.

No good for long term, they will block up your system and contribute little in the way of things you need to live.

Funny enough, I only put those on my favorites list the other night, and was going to buy some, I still might.
The thing is with this type of food, like Army ration biscuits, they should be taken as fillers, snack if you like,.. not as main meals,.. unless you crunch them up and add to the likes of stew to bulk out a small meal to a bigger portion

I have always hated porridge, but I was always on the scrounge for the oat meal biscuits,.. so that I could add them to my stew,.. then you got a really good meal
A major part of survival is invisibility.

Oatmeal biscuit, hot chocolate powder and a sachet of sugar, MMM. Used to love that as my breakfast.
