internationalists pushing global ID cards.

RE: internationalists pushing global ID cards.
I see all sides of this.

We're already fully tracked with pretty much everything going on in our lives. There is almost nothing we can hide.

Having said that, we also have no-fly lists at large, we have people banned from countries, we have people banned from having pets. People are banned from living within certain areas of schools, and loads of things like that.

All in all, I think that the ID card would have very little difference to everyday life. As long as you're law abiding, nothing will be out of hand or too difficult to do.

If you think about dogs being tracked, how many dog owners go far without their dogs? That's an indirect way to track the dog owners!

The potential for abuse is massive, as NR shows above, but the problem is that these things already exist. There was that recent outcry about CRB checks picking up stuff from years ago and stopping people getting jobs. Obviously there are things about people with smaller crime convictions that stops them getting a FAC or SGC. But that's the thing, if you remain law abiding, and can stay out of trouble, then there's nothing to worry about.....yet.

Microchipping dogs great idea but about 50% of people dont fill in the forms when there dogs chipped, so lots of lost dogs are found with chips in but no details. Also howmany toe rags bother going to the vets? Lots self medicate dogs or use ambulance type first aid kits. This could be because they fight them/badger bait. Its a system to catch law abiding citizens out and make a bit more revenue when sallys walking the labradour, dog warden would run a mile if he actualy spotted a fighting dog and its owner.

Crb checks are a joke, you can become a santa and work with kids when you have spent half your life in prison, but get nicked for joyriding when your 15,join the army turn your life around get blown up in the falklands and get knocked back from a job in 2012.

To NR,..... I understand all you write about in your last post,... two things in response, first of all I was only talking about things as they stand now,..and in that respect I still cant see a problem yet with the idea of an ID card.

Your post see`s a possible future for the ID card,..and I cant say that you will be wrong, it may well go that way,.... but it might not as well, ....many of the points you make already happen now without the card, people are black listed for all sorts of things with nothing to do with an ID card

If it did go down the route you wrote about, then of course I completely agree with you, but I personally don't see things ever getting that bad,.. the light bulb really is flickering up here..Smile,.. but I do think its flickering more into life than going out,.... I hope I am right and you are wrong..Smile

And not forgeting all information can be held in (1) place and updated automatically from many departments ...the next abvious step would be this one card could control your bank account....incoming payments....your location....the full monty ....total control.......you could be traced just walking into a shop via a scanner....

.... but your National Insurance number can do all these things now, except the shop scanner

One card might well be better than having to carry your drivers License, your bank cards,..and all the other cards we now carry

It would also be better if all the information could be held in one place for updating,... we are already updated all the time, the problem often arises because one group does one up-date and another gets it all wrong, so there is another advantage, of something that already being done

They got " That bad" in East Germany during the CW or as near to it as they could, and remember the EU is now utterly dominated by an east German bitch and loads of eastern european former commies.

The one thing, the single most desirable thing all politicians crave is TOTAL CONTROL of the people, ID card can and will give them that control.

I agree,..and that's scary,... but there might just be a bit of a fight back from the sheeple with the current trend towards UKIP,... we can but hope
