[Spy ] Camera`s,..
Can anyone suggest a reasonable covert camera, that's powered by battery?.... possibly a `spy` camera, maybe like the type you put into nest boxes
I have a good `hidey hole`not too far from the house, and I would like to be able to watch the house from it without venturing out

RE: [Spy ] Camera`s,..
My first thought would that cctv systems are usually 12v
But the recorders etc are usually 240v
Two options, either go on eBay and purchase a cheap in car entertainment system with reversing camera, ran from a 12v battery. ......
Or. ....
Purchase an inverter, run your mains camera system from a battery
I'd be surprised if most people on here don't already have a 12v inverter though. I've always kept one for years!

Yes, that's a good idea, thanks I will look into that,... the only thing I am thinking here, is that I want the camera to be hidden and not spotted,... I have no idea yet what the reversing cameras look like
This one looks good, I like the night time operation too,... but I think the camera is too big for me

I like this one,.. smaller camera, long cable too

Even solar powered now too! Now that's cool
They're all £150+ though.
