Don't know if I should ask BP this
did you twist the string a few turns before you put it on BP? you will need to wax the string with beeswax as well.

OH just said clear grease is probably preferable to the black grease that comes with it, in case you get it on yourself...which i am always doing.

Thats cool mate a few twists is all you need. I never got any black grease with mine mate I just use vaseline.

oh dont worry about it, i'm going to get a couple of spare strings for it anyway so if it dosent last long i can put another on and twist that one properly, see-i'm getting quite blasie about stringing it now!!

yeah, it comes in the box in a plastic bag thing, on the video they put it on with an old toothbrush- its horrible gungy black stuff-i'll just chuck it out unopened i think.

black model-dosent have the metal casing on the sides if thats what you mean, just ordered some bolts and spare strings for it. i was wondering if i could make some wooden arrows for it-or is it too powerful for wood??

Wood will work fine for this model BP.

I make and use wood with my 175# Jaguar with no problems
