RE: Strips or sutures?
The Ethicon Wound Closure Manual that I learned how to suture from in the mid 1960s (now updated, I'm sure) can be downloaded for free here:

I don't know the answer to that one. I was a tech in orthopaedic surgery all through college, so all I know about is sewing up legs, arms, and an occasional back or two.

RE: Strips or sutures?
Go with good strip stitches rather than superglue as super glue when applied by oneself can be messy and trap dirt etc in the wound which leads to contamination and healing issues.
Plus strip stitches are ultra cheap, long lasting and easily stored.

Did anyone download this manual? It wanted me to register with Facebook or as a premium user. Not doing either of those.

Sd,.. you are almost right, it does ask you to log into Facebook, but there is also a `skip login` there as well.
...but if you`skip login` you will find that the next page asked you to become a Premium member before you can download,... this of course costs you money
arrhhh you saw the premium membership,..duhhhhh

RE: Strips or sutures?
Superglue can seal in contamination and can lead to severe infections. I have seen this in animals. :-(
