Increasing military training
#1
I live in a village just outside of Lancaster which I was told that the RAF uses it as a turning point and therefore has lots of activity. About a month ago it was noticed that the RAF have been overhead a lot more. In fact I think they have flown more than I can remember.

Also, I am within earshot of the local army camp and their activity has also increased. I used to hear them shooting on a sunday but now it seems to be daily.

Now the conspiracy theorist in me is screaming that we are preparing for some form of military action. Perhaps we are merely preparing due to the threats from North Korea and/or Argentina, actually most of the planet hates us so I'll extend that to everyone. Has anyone else noticed anything?

we get the odd plane or chopper coming over but nothing special and it hasn't increased, so no haven't noticed it.

apparently some RAF hardware is being "secretly" moved to a staging point.

i dunno where or what for, but they must be moving it for a reason.......

Well the govt are scrapping The Ark Royal, its going off to Indonesia to be butchered, they've scrapped the fighter contract, I expect any future fighting will be as part of a UN force or some multi national force. with only 80,000 troops we'll be short handed to even fight off an invader never mind START a war.
