4th. Scythe13 £5.00 Project
Okay everyone, this one is a very labour intensive post, and project.

Today, after being told off by Mr SD for being long winded, I have opted to go for a shorter how to system.

Here is the traditional breakdown of your hard earned money (£5.00)

Tesco Value Beans 25p
Tesco Value Beans + Sausage 35p
Tesco Value Spaghetti 15p
Tesco Value Spag Bol 19p
Tesco Value Ravioli 35p
Tesco Value Mac Cheese 40p
Tesco Value Mushy Peas 15p
Tesco Value Kidney Beans 21p
Tesco Value Pineapple (big tin) 65p
Tesco Value Chopped Tomatos 31p
Tesco Value Custard 17p
Tesco Value Rice Pudding 15p
4 x Tesco Value Spiced Curry Noodles (the Pot-Noodle rip-offs) 60p
Tesco Value Water 2 litre 17p
Tesco Value 2 litre Soft Scoop Ice Cream 89p

Total
£4.99

Step 1.

Print out the above list.

Step 2.

Get to Tesco with your £5.00 note.

Step 3.

Fullfil the list and take the items to the checkout.

Step 4.

Pay for items.

Step 5.

Get home and store tins + water.

Step 6.

Enjoy the 2 litres of ice cream (see project 2), and remember to use the empty fake pot noodle pots as plant pots (see project 1).

You should purchase what you eat. If you use ASDA stuff instead or your choices are a bit more expensive go for it.

This was shows how you can build up a good supply in a very short time.

I'd forgo the water and ice cream and get some rice or pasta to bulk it out. You can add the contents of the tins to the pasta or rice to make it go much further.

great reminder of just how far you can stretch your wonga!

its worth noting, that even if most of the food listed isnt exactly to your tastes, or not your usual brand, when the time comes and your rationing food, it'll seem like the food of the gods!
in some cases, those with the least to say, say the most.....

I HATE tuna pasta. After living on a desert island for 5 weeks, after 1 week.....damn it tasted amazing!!! As soon as I was back to civilisation, it tasted like crap again!!!

Crazy how hunger makes even the most vile stuff taste good!!!
