Something else for those foreign doctors and soldiers going over to help to come down with.

Speaking of which, there's been no mention of those thousands of soldiers being put in mandatory quarantine when they get back. I'm not sure what is done in the UK now, but in Australia the authorities are asking anyone who comes back to self-quarantine for 3 weeks. Damn lot of good that has done, as most people don't have the resources to stay at home for one week, let alone three.

This is the one thing that I think being in a totalitarian / one-party state (like where I live in China) has going for it. The govt here doesn't need to worry about people's rights, so have been temperature screening all passengers flying in from overseas for the past couple of months. They even took a few Liberian athletes in the country for some youth games type event from the airport straight to a containment hospital and mandatory quarantine. There's no way a western government would do that unless it was already spreading like wildfire domestically.
