So bombs going off at Airport AND metro stations, tens of thousands stranded, cell phone system overwhelmed and the Belgie authorities have closed down all public transport. So huge number are stuck with comms, transport, food, water or shelter. Lots of lessons here folks.

13 dead 35 injured so far and the departure area is wrecked, not sure of casualties on tub bombings, one thing I am sure of is no European governments have any positive response to this type of terrorism.

All flights cancelled from Brussels, All Euro star trains cancelled from Brussels, all Brussels metros cancelled, all Brussels buses cancelled, total chaos for tens of thousands of travellers, tourists and commuters.

Brussels authorities now ordering everyone to stay at home / indoors effectively locking down the entire city. tropps, gendarmes and cops pouring onto streets, all public transport now closed down

I do not want to sound cold and none caring BUT.....WTF...do we expect ? WE were told to expect such attacks ....i mean ...you can,t let thousands of people enter any country THEY like (after being bombed out of their own country) and expect them not to return in kind....we should EXPECT more of the same all over the EU and worse here in the UK....after all they have already told us to expect it, its no longer a question of IF ....its a question of WHEN...if you travel on aircraft,use the trains , or the tube.....easy....Don't do it at this time ! unless your completely stupid...then your good to go .

Sky News 10.37am now discussing the possible threat to smaller British and European towns and cities away from Capital cities, they are saying the UK is totally utterly unprepared to respond if terror attacks occured away from London.

nothing new there then! whenever anything happens-no matter what it is- the British government(of any party) is always caught with its finger up its bum. its always a reaction to something actually happening, they don't seem to be able to foresee anything.
