Personally I like the paint job on this crazy person's car.
...and all he dis was apply OD with a roller over the original silver paint.
I am seriously impressed with the result and am thinking of buying the requisite amount of paint and rollers to do ours at an appropriate time.

SS be careful what you wish for.... life ain't so rosy on the green oval TD5 side either.
If you're seriously considering it lets start another thread to discuss as there are one or two other LR folk on here who could comment.

In my TA unit we had all Landies, on average of 18 in the company 8 were always broken down. Apparently our Aussie cousins had the very same problem so they re-engined their Landies with Izuzu 3 litre lumps

My pal who has a Land Rover has this tag as his byline - Land Rover, turning drivers into mechanics for over 60 years.

The Izuzu or Ford lumps work well with Landies. Now I'm alone I'm giving serious thought to getting a Pinzgauer...don't NEED one, just WANT one lol A hard cab version would make a great radio shack and camper for one
