The Hunger Games???
Anyone read this trio of books that have just been turned into a movie and if so are they worth getting ?

Dispite the movie not being out yet you can buy posters of it in HMV so it must have a resonable amount of backing.

It looks poo, to be fair. Watch it online, then see if it's work paying to watch haha.

By it being 'Games' it looks like there's a ball room dance as one of the games. I think only a small part of the film will be interesting.

It's about people taking part in lethal games because everything is so expendive. There were a few similar books out back in the 70s and 80s when we were all going to starve before 2000. Now their predicting 2020. Thats why they like to make the date so far away. The global warming scam learnt that one quick.

I got the set of books for a tenner and found them interesting but they were more "teen reads" than dystopian or even prepper fiction.

Will still go along to see the film if a decent d/l dosen't come along.
