Jute Tape

RE: Jute Tape
The jute roll is also good as an improvised ‘emergency’ wound dressing, either on its own if you have nothing else to use with it or putting a little ‘Petroleum Jelly’ or ‘Lanolin’ or other such substance on help keep the Jute dressing from sticking to the wound, but at the same times allows absorption of blood or other seepage. Only recommended as an EMERGENCY alternative. The jute can also be used as a very effective fire kindling as the spark from a ‘Fire Stick’ or ‘Fire Steel’ ignites the fibres very easily. (It also has many other uses, so always worth having some stashed away).
“From now on it is only through a conscious choice and through a deliberate policy that humanity can survive.”
Pope John Paul II
