Found out yesterday that our lovely new Ikea cooker (courtesy of Michelin tyres... Long story) can be set as low as 50 degrees C. So we don't have to invest in or make a dehydrator. I tried it out yesterday on a banana and it worked as well as my old specialist dehydrator that my ex now owns.
