Cranked Cocking Devices for Crossbows Question
Has anyone come across an after market hand cranked cocking device (not the rope thingy) that will fit the crossbows from companies like Petron, Venom and the other names used by the chinese x bow makers ?

Barnett do one. Looks positively medieval.
It could be good for you NR as it only claims to need 16 lbs of force.
Never seen one in real life though.

The Barnett one looks as though it could be adapted but its designed to fit their own specific stocks, and its over £100 to buy. I was hoping the chinese made one for their bows but i cannot see anything so far.
There use to be a chap in teesside who made crossbows for fun and he machined one for his pride and joy and he cocked it with a cordless drill instead of a crank !!
