Get that donkey towing a little car - mini or something. Offers more protection than just a cart. Plus it'll keep you warm and dry

i saw a nice little cart the other week, was being pulled by a cob rather than a donkey but the principle is the same, they had fixed a bar onto the top and put a heavy duty tarpaulin over it and turned it into a mini covered wagon...absolutely brilliant!!Big Grin

Cool! I'm 10 mins from the New Forest, so lots of donkeys etc there that I can rehome. Plus the field over the road.
Just need a cart now. One that can take a dozen donkeys!

your ordinary riding horse(a.k.a. a hunter) is too highly strung to pull a cart or carriage, you need something more sedate hence a "cob".

yes a lot of the Gypos use a "cob" for "trotting" but they also use a lot of ponies too!
