I agree, i think it will be a lot more hostile with marauding gangs on the look out for easy pickings, in my mind it would be safer to always keep on the move, that way one is always open to opportunity. Alternatively one must be prepared to defend what ever resources they have, it makes sense to adopt the hunter/forager lifeway eating as an when the oportunity arises but not accumulating large amounts that weigh you down, the less you have the less it will attract other predators plus you have the freedom to just up and move without so much preperation, less baggage is a good thing imho.

A great THEORY, but like socialism impossible to make work in practise (i think), It cold only work in a world with such low numbers it would be just an educated version of nomadic hunter gathering

very interesting, a concept i am very happy with.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.

Just a bit romanticised for me I think some reading it will think its easy living in the ruins of civilisation. I think I will stick to getting my advice from you guys at least you say how it is and what to expect.

who needs "civilisation"? if we are talking about life as it is now lived you can keep it, give me the fall of society anyday!
