Give it a few years and when there's no reaction, It'll be down here.
Kiss goodbye to all legally held air weapons.
Then they'll class them as firearms like the Brocock revolvers...
I tried to be normal once.... Worst two minutes of my life...

Well, there's always the bow, I still think its a royal law that says your supposed to practice with one every Sunday...
I did read somewhere that they'll never repeal that law, but we'll see.
Funny really seeing how bows are far more devastating that airguns...
But then again like you said knee jerk reaction against something that looks like a real gun.

If the idiots get their way the wording will be changed from Firearm to Projectile Weapon - that'll cover all guns, bows, crossbows, sling shots, blow pipes and anything else you can think of that actually projects any form of ammunition. We really will be left with stcks and stones if the PC kneejerk mob have any say in it. Angry

There is no date given for starting this,... its maybe years ahead yet,.. I must have a look and see what else I can find,...it might be that it never happens

lets hope not. if it does however and we need licences for these i'll be trading in the air rifle for something a bit more lethal.
