Lets face it, there's no way on earth they could monitor EVERY data packet online, they just don't have the computing power. We used to make sure we got round any chance of getting caught when trading information by using newsgroups. Ask your ISP for usenet access, grab newsbin and away you go. Split all of your uploads by using winrar and you're off. The packets can be inspected no problem, but all they see is that it's a multi-part .rar file - NOT what's inside it.

Or someone could set up a SUK VPN for us to connect to, that'll help somewhat.

I can see online comms going back to the old school BBS's to communicate. Not real time, but you can get much more security. Or do what they did years ago - write a letter.
