What are you most grateful for?

there wil be a very large portion of veterans that not only survive, but suddenly find themselves being very usefull to a lot of people
there will be stuff in your head that can only be learned from living it,
all the planning in the world wont give that.

and like you said, theres an instinct inside you that wont quit.
that alone can be very inspirational to others.

chances are its ex veterans that people would turn to for protection ,
there aint many civis that can make a good battle or defence plan, some veterans can probably do it in their sleep.
