I looked at the water bob but decided to buy a 120 liter water butt system instead because at least its partially portable.

Ferkinhell they are only $20 in parts of the US around £17. Go to a camping shop and they will do you a deal on 25 or 30 litre water containers for £50.

I have 2 900ltr plastic bulk carriers ( come with a plastic pallet and a metal cage ) with a big f off tap...they are used for loads of differant stuff...once you clean em out , remove the 2 metal stays on top remove the tub cover with black polythene then set it back in the frame......you can reduce down the bore of the outlet and connect to 20mm or 25mm off the shelf alcathene plastic pipe....got mine from a brick company.....for sweet FA

I contacted the company that makes the waterbob's & they won't dispatch to the uk. At least they wouldn't about 3 months ago.

I read that as well that the plastic is not UV stable so it will need to be stored in the dark or it will eventually go brittle. I'm not certain but I believe this cracking issue blights many folding water storage containers.

The £1 shops sell folding 5 & 10 litre water carriers during summer months. With the price of a waterbob + shipping if you can get someone to send one here, would it not be better to buy these with your cash? You have them instantly & if 1 happens to spring a leak you don't lose such a vast amount of your water reserves.
