yeah thats a great post, but i dont think many of us would be able to do much along these lines, its fine having some bandages and medical tape and some tweezers and stuff, most of us could probably pull out some shrapnel and bind up the wound, but i dont think many of us are capable of sewing up arteries and veins, i know my eyesight isnt good enough for this sort of fine detail work.

I too have no idea how you would repair arteries and veins either. I would love to learn but I am pretty sure if you get shot you are gonna die post SHTF.
A lot of people seem to think that when you get shot you can just shake it off and forget about it. Say you get shot in the torso and you use the HALO. Then what? you get someone to do a backroom surgery with some whiskey and a penknife. I have the equipment for a large cuts that may require an Israeli bandage but that's it. Seems like there is some fantasy more than practicability

Great to build up the kit for treating trauma but the kit is useless if we do not know how to use it when that vital time comes.
While I will look to build the kit, I will also need to get trained to use it. Thanks so much for taking the time to add this, Prepper1. It is certainly very much appreciated.
