yeah, that's what most people think! boy are they in for a shock! we see the road gangs here all the time, cleaning out the gutters, patching the roads, removing trees after the storms.if we didn't have people cutting the verges and cutting back the hedgerows it wouldn't be long before we couldn't WALK down the road never mind drive, it'd all meet in the middle! there are people who think the countryside manages itself, seems they think the same about the roads too!
