Of course they do 177 flies a flat trajectory which makes it vastly superior for paper punching, but target shooting and real shooting are totally different things and in 99 % of the time in real world hunting bigger is usually better, Wether they are competing in 177 or 22 0r 25 its NOT real hunting, its knocking down totally static critter shaped targets, great fun but not realistic.

But anyway at least we are all shooting and thats the important bit, practice practice practice.
