Anybody keep fish in tanks for food

There was a show called home of the future and they had an aquaponics greenhouse with fish.

Although it is a bit expensive, it looks awesome.

from my own research carp is best as they can survive in 4C, which should work in winter without needing to heat the water but you might need to heat the greenhouse somehow or bring them indoors
