I've made this new thread for discussion.

On another thread, someone was talking about spending quite a bit of money on secure widows etc.

I suggested 3M security film and reckon that the costs could be quite low.

just watching a rerun of blackout clips of rioters trying to get into shops with bricks sticks ect not getting to far , plastic film working well Smile

same principal as armoured laminate glass , just cheaper....good find...may go belt and braces and get this fitted to....worked out on average for my 2 windows and 2 doors that are being fitted an extra £100 per unit to upgrade to armoured laminated glass and tougher frames with all round shootbolts(well worthwhile i think) where this really comes into its own is retro fitting to already in place windows and doors.
Nothing is fool proof for a sufficiently talented fool!!!!
