Any special winter preps?
This is a question for reminders about winter specific preps and to pick up hints and tips.

First up, snow boots for the dogs.

Secondly, ice grips for the wife's shoes/boots.

Thirdly, Sharpen the snowboard edges.

Next, start learning about winter plants and food.

After that, more fuel stored. Winter fuel is treated to withstand and work better at lower temps. But it still works fine in summer.

Lastly, new snow shovel to help clear the garden and roof.

Oh, actually, this is the last bit, start boarding up the loft and adding some toilet paper as super insulation, on top of what's already there.

SCREENWASH!!!!!

Well reminded SS! Your comment of antifreeze reminded me of the screenwash. With all the salt on the road, that'll need some crazy screenwash volumes.

Well I think I have the car sorted, just need to add a shovel and snow chains, all the rest are in there all year round, including sleeping bag, food and water, and about 30 liters of petrol put by

I have been on holiday for a week, so have had chance to make sure enough wood has been cut, but I am off another week yet so more to do.

Winter underfugs and thick socks.
