compact folding survival bow (heavy with pictures)

After years of using crossbows as back up to other legally hold weapons I got into archery bows about a year ago , my oh and kids have also caught the bug too, so I spent a small fortune kitting us out with compound bows but they are rather obvious when walking around so I wanted something that could pack into a back pack and easily be assembled for use .
After looking for several weeks I found the compact folding survival bow http://www.merlinarchery.co.uk/compact-f...ow-50.html it looks pretty good but was thinking if anyone has got one and what its like to use before I buy one , it folds downs to as small as 26" and has draw weights of 40lb at 26" 45lb at 27" and 50lb at 28"

Looks nice. I have a recurve bow and an Allen key

they claim it can be up and ready in seconds with no tools used

My bow will fit into a small camping seat bag and into my pack. I think if you were hunting you would have the bow already set up

Now that looks good...have you got it yet? my only concern is it doesn't look like the bow hand is got anything particulary nice to grip.

Read the running review...not the bow for me to learn on then....like it though...maybe one for the future.

I don't think a "survival" bow will be too much of a problem, its possible to make a simple wooden bow fairly easily, its making the arrows that will take time. for emergencies I have a Slingbow and 20 inch arrows ready to go.
