I'm a Survivor
Today I compleated the mens health survival of the fittest http://www.mhsurvival.co.uk/ It is a 10K assult course arround battersea powerplant and park. have a few bumps and bruises but i did have fun.

some of the obsticles were climbing through cars from the boot through the windscreen, carrying cones and kegs jumping up and over things and crawling through freezing cold water.

Any Urban preppers should give it a go Smile

Thanks Smile

Here is the 2012 vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eo6lfKRosAE and the photo gallery http://www.mhsurvival.co.uk/portfolio/photos/
ours was slightly different as we didn't go through the power plant and we had more carry sections. and more water stations. hopefully there will be some 2013 vids up soon.

Might have gtton some of the order wrong but ...

At the start of the race there is some chest high hay bales to climb over and the last one is a couple high and really slippery then we ran around to a "parkour" section where there was some walls to get over like the ones in the video and rope ladders, rope swings andmonkey bars ( i slipped off half way through)

we then ran into a maze area which got us twisted around and then through some mud water, which was ankle high and very cold after that there was some duck down areas and tire piles and it moved onto street running.

we ran down towards a nice looking park. I found this one of the hardest bits with the just running and went onto a full running track we did one loop carrying some weighted traffic cones then one loop jumping some hurdles the last one with water pit on the other side which went up to my bum.

on the way back to battersea station there were more climb over obsiticles made of wood some palates to crawl under and wrecked cars to crawl through. anohter hard bit was some tight scafolding where you had to squeeze through going up and down. sliding down on my front nearly made me loose my shorts. there were lots of them in a row and my shoulders were burning from pulling myself through them.

there was also some waist high water areas you had to pull yourself out of. I had to jump back in to give my girlfriend a leg up and before the finish line was an 8 ft wall and i am grateful to the guy behind me who push my ass over as i got part way up and just could not get all up.

here is a 2013 short
