RE: viglante acton
The truth can depend on many things often stuff like WHO wrote the history decides what is truthful, I often think of the Marxist doctrine used even today be socialists " If you tell a lie often enough sooner or later it will be accepted as the truth"

Y'see Media reporting like MPs actions has one MAJOR flaw in this country they are never held PERSONALLY accountable for what they write, say or do. Only the rich can afford litigation lawyers to sue for slander or liable, MPs can screw up an entire country and simply walk away from Parliament with nothing more than a huge pension.

Yes, coined by those famous Marxists Adolf Hitler ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_lie ) and Joseph Goebbles;

Quote:If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.

I believe it was also attributed to Marx in Austria, Lenin and a few others all good ole socialists Smile

Not forgetting ole Ice Pick Trotsky being another attributed to its source.

However I am more than content to use your version, I appreciate you taking the time to correct me Smile
