RE: Doing what YOU thinks Right when the SHTF !
so this site for a few weeks talked about many subjects that had to some, a lot to do with prepping to others nothing to do with prepping.

but 2 things happned , 1 most of the regulars joined in including our mods , 2 the mods did not stop it .

now its a blame game the biggest moaner also one of the biggest posters of this stuff , ie socialism [and how he hates it ] ukip [and how he loves them] and still the mods did almost nothing.

I admit I posted plenty , but you all joined in , why because you all enjoy news and views plus prepping.

the truth was the site was very quiet , a few posts a day , I then started to post lots of news stuff to try and get it going [ mods did not stop it] then it became too much for some so now back to just prepping again.

I hope the site don't go quiet again .........

That's not entirely true either.

Any of the Mods can see how many of your threads have been deleted, but at the same time, we've given you the benefit of the doubt on several occasions, as certainly in my view, we all prep for different things ........

Yes Sunna i for one did notice you picked up the slack, and your good intentions , S13 did the same, but prepper related i must say to be fair, the problem with news stuff it sends us off on tangents ....look at me and Ukip for example...who gives a f..k about my politics IT adds nothing sweet FA to what we are all here for.....as Barney says we just go around in circles....to no good end, and even more frustration for all who participate .....and worse still members who will NOT enter into the argument because they feel its a complete waste of their time..and see right through it all ....hence they end up not posting at ALL on ANYTHING ....its got out of hand ....its up to ALL on here to have a RESET ....thats why we signed up in the first place ......SURVIVAL....the preparation of wtshtf

Isnt remaining totally ON Topic what SD tried time after time to implement ?, and when he did people complained about news articles, stuff not directly linked to prepping and other stuff getting deleted or closed?

Perhaps our mods want to chat with SD to work out a fresh approach to how the forum runs and rigorously enforce it, I would happily accept a bit more control from the mods providing its even handed and we stuck to prepping and survivalism. No politics I'm OK with that, No Conspiracy stuff I'm Ok with that as well, No off Topic Stuff I'm up for that as well.

But equally I'm just as happy to go along with what the majority of people want as I'm not here very much these days.

I don't think the forum is set up for newbies, that's what SD set up the Home page and downloads section for, plus the interweb search engines are not showing SUK prominently so many newbies go to UKP and get quite a nice welcome and help.
