New Car Con
Just been gossiping with a mate who is an AA man , I asked him to have a look at my tyres on the little Suzuki run around, I was struggling badly to blow the tyres up. So I phone Graham and straight away he said he knows what was up.

Apparent some car makers are so desperate to ensure ALL maintenance is done in the dealership and CHARGED for, some time either garages or manufacturers install tyre valves that have little slits or grooves machined into the threads and or slightly odd shaped valve inserts to stop the normal every day home owners tyre pump connector from forming a proper seal.

But if you are having constant trouble topping up your tyre pressures your local tyre shop can and will fit normal tyre valves for about £15 each wheel on average.

RE: New Car Con
whoever fitted the tyres would be getting a visit from me or tading standards depending on how the first contact went.
Nothing is fool proof for a sufficiently talented fool!!!!
