Snow

We have had a major snowfall here, about a foot on the flats, deeper drifts.

I decided to take a trip to the village and make sure the Jeep would still do the job.

Nothing has been plowed or salted so this is all just natural snow pack.

I do not live in a level area, my garden is on a 45% slope and so are the roads, so just getting through is not the major effort, going up and down the shills is the effort.

The old Cherokee went through the mess like I was driving on bare roadway. It never slipped, slid or hesitated.

I went to the village, found everything closed, discovered the main motorways (our interstate highway system) were barely passable, and returned home.

maybe McDonalds will reopen tomorrow, I really wanted a burger.
