most people (non preppers) will not be looking for the same type of food supplies as us, they will be looking for fresh stuff-bread, milk,(not many people drink UHT milk which lasts for ages) biscuits, ready meals-very few people these days make their own bread for instance, so we can sit back with our supplies and let the mayhem blow up and then settle down again, in 3-4 weeks when everyone has done their looting we can come back and pick up what they've left behind, the tins, the flour etc.
Some people that prefer to be alone arent anti-social they just have no time for drama, stupidity and false people.
