Just bought a new one for the boat gets very cold on the river. I use home, boat, workshop for both normal use and emergency use, but I also just love fire.

I couldn't answer the poll as I would have liked: We have more than one and they are used all the time.
A new multi-fuel central heating boiler is being installed this summer which will reduce our reliance on the wood burners, but we fully expect to be using the main stove for cooking a considerable percentage of the time. The main stove is probably the most important prep item of hardware that we have. It allows us to meet four main criteria: keeping warm and dry, cooking food and sterilizing water.
