Food Rationing In Venezuela

It's a worrying situation genereally, but what also worries me is if something like that did happen here, I've had the thoughts previously that the government would commandeer troops, and also maybe along with volunteers, to collect food supplies from households to hold so that they may redistribute (or hoard themselves more like) to the masses. Kiss preps goodbye unless they are in a BOL, but would you be able to get to it in a situation like that? What are your thoughts?
